Are there two Systems of Justice or just ONE for everyone,  America?

Former US Navy Petty Officer, Kristian Saucier, now released from jail, appeared on Varney & Company recently and accepted his punishment of nearly a year in Federal prison for snapping a few cell phone pictures in a restricted area of a 40 year old submarine. While he recognized his mistake, wishing to have some keepsake pictures of where he worked on his submarine, he contrasted his offense with Hillary Clinton, John Podesta and Clinton aide Huma Abedin-none of whom who have been prosecuted over an illegal private server scandal that rendered highly classified and even top secret communication subject to easy interception by our enemies.

"...you have people like Hillary Clinton, John Podesta and Huma Abedin who committed far more egregious acts you know I'm not trying to minimize what I did, I made a mistake ..the photos I took were of Confidential which is the lowest tier of classification . whereas the information they mishandled was Top Secret SCI....". He added." But what I think the issue here is that the punishment isnt doled out evenly across the board .."

Kristian Saucier was serving on the nuclear powered attack submarine USS Alexandria in 2009 when it was in port in Groton, Connecticut. While there he took six cell phone pictures for his family to illustrate the work he did in an area that was restricted from photo taking. Others on his ship had done the same either without punishment or with a reprimand and, in some cases a small fine or reduction in pay grade. Years later this cell phone was found and the photos discovered. Kristian, who had served honorably with high praise from his superiors as an important and skilled member of the US Nuclear Navy's elite submariners corp working as a machinist's mate, was imprisoned nearly a year.  Hillary Clinton, despite top secret communication that was easily hackable via an illegal private server that she had set up, was  given a slap on the wrist and allowed to run for president unhindered; sign a million dollar book deal and could afford to purchase a second house in upscale Chappaqua, NY. Meanwhile consider the ordeal Kristian Saucier and his family had to endure.

Both Kris Saucier and his family were subjected to extremely harsh treatment. Among these trials:

  • His family home was raided & ransacked by TEN US Federal agents & police bearing AR 15's in an absurd, humiliating  and needless show of force with a minor daughter present
  • SIX Local TV News Channels camped outside their home for three days
  • Kris was subjected to lengthy FBI interrogations and without benefit of counsel-UNLIKE Hillary Clinton
  • His wife Sadie, with a high risk pregnancy, had to drive two hours to post Kris's bail
  • Legal fees crushed his family financially & their savings were wiped out
  • The Saucier home went into foreclosure
  • The Saucier's lost their  vehicles
  • Kris received an other than honorable discharge from the Navy
  • Kris Saucier was threatened with being prevented from being present during the birth of his daughter
  • His security clearance was lost making obtaining a good job difficult

During the 2016 presidential campaign the civilian court decision to sentence Kristian to nearly a year in prison became a national topic when Donald Trump contrasted Saucier's harsh punishment to the non punishment that Hillary Clinton enjoyed after having even beyond top secret communications and dozens of classified ones on her private (and highly hackable) server accessible with her cell phones.  Kristian now faces life without an honorable discharge; the likelihood that he will never be given security clearance and has suffered vehicle re-possessions and foreclosure on his home. The Clinton's meanwhile, could afford to purchase a second house in tony Chappaqua, New York and Hillary Clinton could freely look forward to becoming President enjoying access to the most top secret and sensitive communications imaginable. Kristian Saucier is now outfitted with an ankle monitor, which he must wear for 7 months.

The true story of the first African American on the White House Secret Service detail and his quest for justice after the assassination of JFK

INTERVIEW OPPORTUNITY: OCASOMEDIA-305-396-2806

A gripping and unforgettable true story of bravery and patriotism in the face of bitter hatred.

Abraham Bolden was a young African American Secret Service agent in Chicago when he was asked by John F. Kennedy himself to join the White House Secret Service detail. For Bolden, it was a dream come true–and an encouraging sign of the charismatic president’s vision for a new America. But the dream quickly turned sour.

INTERVIEW OPPORTUNITY: OCASOMEDIA-305-396-2806

"I actually heard some agents say, 'I wouldn't give my life for President Kennedy"

Bolden found himself regularly subjected to open hostility and blatant racism, and he was appalled by the White House team’s irresponsible approach to security. In the wake of JFK’s assassination, Bolden sought to expose the agency’s negligence, only to find himself the victim of a sinister conspiracy. The Echo from Dealey Plaza is the story of the terrible price paid by one man for his commitment to truth and justice.

Abraham Bolden has been on a quest to clear his name after he complained to Secret Service supervisors about security concerns he witnessed that put JFK in danger and later, after the president was assassinated, Bolden was railroaded into prison over trumped up counterfeiting related charges-accusations later recanted by a states witness who assisted the prosecution. His arrest happened as he was about to meet with the Warren Commission to voice his concerns. After President Kennedy met Abraham in Chicago´s McCormack Place (at the door to the basement Men´s Room where he was assigned) and offered him the chance to be at the White House detail he became the first African American to work on the White House Secret Service detail.
Abe Bolden Sr. still seeks justice after 42 years

What he saw on the Secret Service detail deeply bothered him. As quoted from Jack Goudie of the Daily Herald: " "...from the day he arrived in Washington in 1961, Bolden says he believes "the president's life was in grave danger." The threat wasn't just "assassins who were organized … following the president everywhere." Bolden believes it also was his fellow agents. He says they would routinely drink alcohol before, during and after presidential events. Once, this resulted in agents being expelled from Chicago's Playboy Club and compromised Kennedy's safety, he says. "They were in no condition once the plane landed to actually protect the president," Bolden says he told his supervisors. "Their reflexes are going to be in a condition that they won't be able to respond. And Dallas, Texas, proved that I was right."

INTERVIEW OPPORTUNITY: OCASOMEDIA-305-396-2806
Abraham Bolden is also available for speaking engagements

Abe Bolden reported security issues to his Supervisors

"I actually heard some agents say, 'I wouldn't give my life for President Kennedy. If there were shots fired, I would duck because he is screwing up the country. He is letting these colored people screw up the country. He's letting them go to school together.' "
"When those shots were fired, that attitude came to fruition," he contends. "If you look at all of the pictures of the assassination, those agents' feet are glued to the running board. Their duty was to move and protect the life of President Kennedy."

Lt Col (US Army ret.) Sargis Sangari has been covering Turkey in depth for the past 18 months. This NATO ally is key to understanding Mid East developments and the evolution of America´s strategic footprint in the region and the "war" against Islamic State. On Turkey and Erdogan Sangari states: "No wonder the EU is allergic to Turkey and it´s high risk leader who could drag NATO into war with Russia and flood Europe with "refugees". While the US media reports on an alleged assault (with sketchy proof) by Trump´s Campaign Manager they disregard America´s relationship with such anti democratic leaders whose own staff needed sick leave after delivering a beating to a protestor"

Stars and Strikes: Baseball and America in the Bicentennial Summer of '76

Dan Epstein Available for interviews
Ocasomedia-305-396-2806

America, 1976: colorful, complex, and combustible. It was a year of Bicentennial celebrations and presidential primaries, of Olympic glory and busing riots, of "killer bees" hysteria and Pong fever. For both the nation and the national pastime, the year was revolutionary, indeed. On the diamond, Thurman Munson led the New York Yankees to their first World Series in a dozen years, but it was Joe Morgan and Cincinnati's "Big Red Machine" who cemented a dynasty with their second consecutive World Championship. Sluggers Mike Schmidt and Dave Kingman dominated the headlines, while rookie sensation Mark "The Bird" Fidrych started the All-Star Game opposite Randy "Junkman" Jones. The season was defined by the outrageous antics of team owners Bill Veeck, Ted Turner, George Steinbrenner, and Charlie Finley, as well as by several memorable bench-clearing brawls, and a batting title race that became just as contentious as the presidential race.
From Dorothy Hamill's "wedge" haircut to Kojak's chrome dome, American pop culture was never more giddily effervescent than in this year of Jimmy Carter, CB radios, AMC Pacers,The Bad News BearsRockyTaxi Driver, the Ramones, KISS, Happy DaysHotel California, and Frampton Comes Alive!---it all came alive in '76!
Meanwhile, as the nation erupted in a red-white-and-blue explosion saluting its two- hundredth year of independence, Major League Baseball players waged a war for their own liberties by demanding free agency. From the road to the White House to the shorts-wearing White Sox,Stars and Strikes tracks the tumultuous year after which the sport---and the nation---would never be the same.
