EYEWITNESS TO HEAVEN….

In the mid 1940s  James Wilburn Chauncey died of bacterial (Meningococcal) spinal meningitis. He was pronounced dead, covered with a white sheet to await the morgue and a Dept. of Health ordered cremation. Several hours later, when two housekeepers entered the quarantined room, they were greeted by a most terrifying sight: a seven-year-old boy who was most certainly not dead—at least not anymore. Though he suffered amnesia and couldn’t remember anything prior to getting sick, James vividly recalled his experience in paradise while dead. That experience which was aided by his inquisitive mind and boyish spontaneity, included being introduced to his previously deceased siblings and forbears and   being shown a vision of his future and the future of the earth. Though considered a Miracle Boy, few people believed he was actually an eyewitness to heaven. The more common response was that the disease has damaged his brain permanently and he was retarded. Ostracized by his brothers and his classmates, James had tremendous problems in school, with his friends, and with life in general. He soon developed anger at Jesus for not taking him back to paradise. Nevertheless, he eventually came face to face to himself-someone with great God given ability and an insight into timeless truths about the place God has prepared for us-if we are faithful to His Word and Will.

A bit like a reluctant Jonah, James finally decided to tell his story after being prompted by heart attacks and even two brushes with deadly cancer and through the persistence of his daughters, the book Eyewitness to Heaven finally became a reality.  Eyewitness to Heaven-A Glimpse into the Obscure-is James´s story.

The Last Cowboy:

The True Story Of One Of DEA's Most Decorated Undercover Agents

by Tim Sellers
  INTERVIEW OPPORTUNITY-OCASOMEDIA-305-396-2806  ocasomedia@gmail.com

The Last Cowboy is the true story of an undercover agent with unconventional methods who became one of the most highly decorated agents in the history of the US Drug Enforcement Administration. At the heart of this story are the remarkable actions of the last of an aging breed of hard-charging, rough-riding agents who risked it all to protect the innocent, from his raucous beginnings as a street cop in Texas to $85 million undercover deals with the most deadly of all Mexican drug traffickers. The Last Cowboy culminates in the hunt for the terror cell that killed five Afghan CIA counterparts. Disobeying a direct order, the agent tackled a suicide bomber on the streets of Kabul, saving the lives of countless American soldiers and crushing the suicide bomber terror cell in the aftermath. This is the true, hard-hitting story of the last "cowboy" to serve with DEA.

ONE WAY OUT
The Inside History of the Allman Brothers Band
by Alan Paul

One of America’s most influential bands, the Allman Brothers Band has been making music together for over 45 years. And while much has been written about them, the real story of this legendary band has never been told in its entirety – until now.

Featuring a foreword and afterword from founding members Butch Trucks and Jaimoe, Alan Paul’s new book ONE WAY OUT: The Inside Story of the Allman Brothers is the first major biography of one of the greatest American rock bands of all time. Written in oral history format with the band’s full participation, it’s based on exclusive interviews with over 60 people intimately related to the band — including all of its surviving members — and features never-before-seen photos, letters and memorabilia.

Alan Paul
ONE WAY OUT chronicles the band’s journey from its formation in 1969 to today. It offers exclusive musical and cultural insights and riveting tales of sometimes violent personality conflicts and betrayals, drug and alcohol use, murder allegations and exonerations, tragic early deaths, road stories, and much more, as told by the members themselves. It includes the most in-depth appraisal of the acrimonious 2000 parting with founding guitarist Dickey Betts and exclusive behind-the-scenes insights into the recording of At Fillmore East, Layla, Eat a Peach, Brothers and Sisters, and other classic albums.

“No journalist knows the ins and outs of the Allman Brothers Band better than Alan Paul.”
—Warren Haynes, the Allman Brothers Band

“I learned so much reading One Way Out. If you want to know the real deal, read Alan Paul.”
—Oteil Burbridge, the Allman Brothers Band
